Crypto.com is launching an ad blitz spearheaded by Matt Damon as the platform tries to bring digital assets to customers in more than 20 countries

This is the actor's first venture into digital assets.

The company stated that Damon also invested in the cryptocurrency platform.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon stars in a Crypto.com marketing blitz. The digital asset platform aims at gaining customers in more than twenty countries.

The company stated that he has also invested in the Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Damon's participation, which is his first venture into the digital asset sector, was announced Thursday through a global advertisement called "Fortune Favors the Brave", directed by Wally Pfister, and produced by David Fincher.

Insider was told by Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com CEO and co-founder. "We wanted to establish a strong connection...cryptocurrencies are less about trading and more about building a future for the internet.

He stated that partnerships with Damon, and other prominent names like UFC and Formula 1 are designed to increase Crypto.com's brand awareness around the globe.

Crypto.com announced Monday that it will donate $1 million to Water.org. Damon founded the non-profit organization to provide safe water and sanitation for people in need.

Crypto.com has over 10 million users and has made a commitment that it will address climate change. It has also pledged to become a carbon-negative company by 2022.

Crypto.com follows the lead of FTX and other crypto companies like FTX. They have aggressively promoted a marketing campaign that includes a SuperBowl ad purchase and taping quarterback Tom Brady to be their brand ambassador.
