Some MacBook Pros Won’t Reach Customers Until Mid-December

Apple's latest batch of MacBook Pros, 14-inch and 16-inch, have started shipping to pre-ordered customers. They are expected to arrive at their new owners by Tuesday. If you don't have a preorder but are interested in placing an order, please be patient.

The Apple Stores were expected to deliver new orders of MacBook Pros on Saturday. This was spotted by 9to5Mac. Standard and custom models will be delivered between Nov. 16 and Dec. 23. Although the news was reported earlier in the week by other outlets, we now have more precise dates.

We've already mentioned that delays in Apple products are not uncommon. The difference is the scale. These are the dates we know of for MacBook Pros ordered from Apple Store:

From Nov. 16 through Nov. 23 for the Standard 14-inch MacBook Pro

November 16-23 Customized 14-inch MacBook Pro with high spec options: Available as late as December 16 (applicable to some models).

: Dec. 16 (applicable to some models) Standard 16 inch MacBook Pro: Nov. 23-Dec. 1

November 23rd to December 1 Customized 16-inch MacBook Pro with high spec options: Available as late as December 23rd (applicable to some models).

However, given the high demand for Apple products, people have backordered $19 polishing cloths from the company. This is in addition to the global supply chain crisis, chip shortage, and global supply chain crisis. It is likely that these dates will change when people begin buying more Apple products for the holiday season.

The MacBook Pro is not the only Apple product that has been delayed. All of the recently announced products are not readily available, and some older products such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and 2021 iMac and Mac Pro are experiencing longer delivery times. Due to the shortage of chips, Apple may reduce its production targets for its new iPhone 13 by up to 10 million.

If you take a step back and look at all the other pressing issues we face, like a global pandemic or a planet in turmoil, delays in Apple's new products delivery are very minor. It may take longer to receive the hardware you are most excited about, but it will come eventually. Waiting is the best thing for your heart.
