Denny's Sued by Server Claiming She Was Called Old, Racist by Co-Workers

Ex-Server at Denny's has beef with the famous diner. She is now suing, claiming that she was canned in retaliation for reporting her colleagues who called her racist and old.Vina Dejoria filed the Nevada lawsuit claiming that she was harassed and bullied. Coworkers also claimed she was from the "dinosaur era."According to TMZ's docs, Dejoria, who is white, says that she began working as a server at Denny's in November 2017. She was 46 when she was fired. Things started to slide earlier in the year, when Dejoria claimed she was called racist for refusing wait tables for customers based upon their skin color. But she insists that this is false.Dejoria claimed that she reported harassment and hostility to her supervisor, but that nothing was done.Dejoria claims she was suspended and then fired from her job because she allegedly was the Denny's employee who was bullying her. She believes this was in retaliation to her reporting the harassment by co-workers.We've seen many Denny's servers and host raise hell about customers wearing masks over the past year. But Dejoria's case concerns only allegations of racism and harassment on the part her bosses and co-workers.
