Emirates rolls out Iata Travel Pass on Dubai-Heathrow route

Emirates offers customers the IATA Travel Pass for travel between Dubai and 10 cities including London.This carrier was one of the first carriers to test Iatas Covid certification. It plans to expand its use to all routes in its network over the next few weeks.Adel Al Redha is the chief operating officer of Emirates. He stated: We have really accelerated our contactless, biometric and digital travel verification projects over the past months to provide our customers even greater convenience, assurance, and security when they fly with Emirates.These projects have multiple benefits, from the Dubai International biometrics pathway to initiatives such as the Iata Travel Pass, integrations with health authority databases, and better customer experiences. They also provide many benefits, including reduced paper use, improved efficiency, reliability, and travel document check checks that are more reliable. We are grateful to the industry partners and the authorities for their support in the successful deployment these projects that strengthen Dubai's aviation capabilities.Emirates customers who fly between Dubai and Barcelona and Madrid, Istanbul, New York JFK and Moscow can now use the Iata Travel Pass.It allows you to view the locations of PCR testing labs and allows you to manage your Covid-19 travel documents such as vaccinations and test results. Passengers who fly on these flights will be sent an SMS and an email with instructions for downloading the IATA Travel Pass app on iOS and Android.Emirates will integrate the Alhosn App, the official UAE app to track and document Covid-19 contacts, into its check-in systems starting July.
