The popular Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World has been removed from the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts portfolio in the last 24 hours.

The property has become famous for its excellent value in F&B credits and low rates when booking through the Amex FHR portal.

Apparently, someone at the Conrad realized that something wasn't right with the rates that were often in their 70s, and that they weren't paying for it. What a surprise!

Diamond members were often able to get more than $200 in credits when staying at this hotel, even on the low rates that usually popped up.

All FHR reservations are eligible for elite and loyalty credits in the major programs.

My last stay at the Conrad Las Vegas earned me points.

This was definitely one of the best value stays I have had in the past.

It's gone now. Conrad LV has been taken out of the FHR program by Amex.

The Conrad Las Vegas is no longer part of The Hotel Collection and is now a random roller. It was pretty poor.

If there has been a change in conditions at the Conrad, I would check with Amex Travel to see if there is a solution for you.

Conrad Las Vegas has the option of being booked with a certified travel advisor that is able to book through the Impresario program and which features the same benefits as Fine Hotels and Resorts.

Conclusion.

The Conrad Las Vegas is no longer part of the American Express FHR program, which will be disappointing to many who have become accustomed to staying at the hotel and getting paid for it.

This has been a failure by revenue management. I thought they didn't care because a new hotel and they tried to drum up business, but apparently there was a mistake with the lowest partner rates being able to be matched with FHR, which should never be the case.

If you stay at Conrad under FHR, you can make a lot of money if you use the internet to sell it through a partner. This wasn't just slip through the cracks.
