Lloyd hugged the commissioner after he was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round.

He was not going to disobey his mom.

Ronyta Johnson said that she didn't know that he was going to pick him up.

Lloyd went above and beyond what his mom intended. He wrapped him in a bear hug and dragged him off the floor.

Analysis for every Jacksonville Jaguars selection.

Lloyd said his mom asked after the Jags selected the former Utah linebacker with the 27th overall pick. He only had a few moments to think about what he was going to do.

He said he had no plans to pick him until after he got the call from the Jags.

The most important question in all of this, though, is: Why did Lloyd's mom want him to pick up a football player? Surprisingly, the reason is very simple.

Johnson wanted to see if he could.
