Students who were grieving over the death of their principal were given a good deed by Post Malone. The Louis Desario School in Staten Island has a video recorded by Post. Phil Carollo died suddenly last month from a heart attack. Phil was a big fan of Post Malone and his family would take car rides with him. The school wanted to do something special for Phil, who would have been 50 on Friday. Post was asked to record a video about Phil for the students at the carnival. One of the teachers started an online petition to get Post to record the video. She says she sent the petition to Post's agents, manager, business partners and record label but got no response. A colleague had a friend who was able to get to Post and recorded the video. Linda in the video breaks down in tears as an emotional Post offers words of comfort to the students. It was touching for the kids to see their dad honored.
