Musk sent out a cartoon on Thursday. It depicts a stick figure on the political spectrum as of 2008 that was left-of-center and eventually became a right-leaning conservative in 2021.

Musk said that he was a supporter of former President Barack Obama. He said the current Democratic party has been hijacked by extremists.

Wright's only effort to monetize the cartoon is the NFT auction. Musk thanked him in a post and also posted a mug on the website.

Wright said he really liked the discussion it has kindled.
