According to a new leak, the upcoming Pixel Watch will be a flagship set that will compete with the Apple Watch. You will be able to get a cellular version of the Wearable, and it will have a 300mAh battery.

It wasn't necessarily a given that there would be a cellular option. Some lower-end smartwatches and high-end fitness-focused models are reliant on your phone for internet access. If the rumor is true and there is a cellular version of the watch, it reinforces the idea that it is not trying to make a smaller or cheaper watch.

The battery's capacity seems to be right for how big the watch is. It is almost impossible to tell how long it will last between charges.

The Apple Watch Series 7 41mm and theGalaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm had vastly different levels of endurance, according to the reviews editor of The Verge. He was able to get a couple of hours more out of theGalaxy after some tweaking, but the Apple Watch was still at 52 percent one day. The Apple Watch's battery capacity is less than the one of theGalaxy, which has a bigger one.

The features and processor of a Wearable are more important than its battery life. Both are unknown at this point, though features-wise it obviously won't have the e-paper display that let the Pebble Time get well over a week of use out of its 250mAh battery.

The big, as-of-yet unanswered question is which chip Google will use, which hasn't shown up in a lot of watches despite having been around for a while. There is a next-gen chip from the same company. Is the Exynos chips that it uses in its own watches? Is it possible that a custom Tensor processor is the same as the one used in the Pixel 6? Some of the options are unknown, and others are a bad sign for its battery life.

We should be able to find out the answer at the I/O conference, which starts just a few weeks from now, according to the rumors. If you want to get a look at its hardware before then, you're in luck because someone posted a lot of pictures of it on and off a wrist. Maybe Sundar Pichai will make the same joke as Steve Jobs when he announces thePixel Watch.
