The Vizio M-Series lineup is one of our favorites if you don't want to spend a lot, thanks to its excellent local dimming, as well as its Smartcast interface. It's easy to share your screen on your phone or laptop.
If you want to play games on your TV, this Hisense U8G is a great choice. It is excellent for sports because of its 120-Hz refresh rate. If that is the sort of thing that matters to you, it has a nice looking stand.
The WIRED recommends the 55-inch 6-Series set because it is a great TV at a great price. The mini-LED backlighting allows for some staggering contrast levels, and it comes with both a Roku interface and Chromecast support built right in.
The bassiest we have tested is the Nakamichi system. There are two mega subs that provide enough bass to shake the foundations of the Earth. It feels like it. It also comes with a pair of rear surround speakers, which will give you better surround sound than you can get on your own.
There are video game deals.
Arkane is the developer of Dishonored and Prey. This one finds you on an island where time starts again every time you die, rather than a linear story. The player is challenged to fight smarter, rather than go in with guns blazing. The PC version is on sale for just $28.
The Jackbox Party Pack typically has a few good games each, except for Party Pack 7, the only truly perfect party pack, so you will often find yourself buying two or three to get all the games you like. All of the games are on sale, with some packs as much as 50 percent off. Make your next game night a blast by grabbing a couple.
The Last of Us II had big shoes to fill. It is hard to deny that the latest iteration of the award-winning series is worth a try.
The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is a great headset for the Xbox Series X/S because it works the same way as your controllers. You can hear what you sound like with the retractable mic.
The Just Dance series is a classic rhythm game for doing what it says in the name: You dance. There were no bulky instruments or dance pads. If you don't have a special camera, you can use your phone as a controller. It is also on sale for the Series X/S.
There are camera gear deals.
If you want to shoot professional-grade videos, this full-frame mirrorless from Panasonic is a great camera. Normally, we have seen its best price around $1,700, but now it is an extra $90 off, which is the lowest we have seen it.
If you don't have enough light on your subject, it doesn't matter how good your camera is. The Godox video light has a dial on the back to adjust its brightness and a remote that can be used to change the color temperature. It is a handy workhorse for most projects.
Lav mics are a great way to get better audio from your video shoots without having to set up a lot of equipment. You can either pair the mic with the wireless transmitter system or plug it into a 3.5-mm port.
