DaBaby is facing criminal charges for a beatdown a man claims he suffered for trying to stop the rapper's crew from shooting a music video on his property. The L.A. County District Attorney's Office charged the rapper with felony battery over an incident in December of last year. A man named ThankgodAwute is also being charged. He was hit with a felony robbery. In February, Pagar filed a lawsuit, claiming that he was attacked because he enforced basic property rental rules at his place. Pagar says he was told that DaBaby and his team were going to take a vacation at his place. The management team of DaBaby agreed to a guest limit of no more than 12 according to Pagar. Their weeklong stay. He says he was assured that they wouldn't be there for long after he complained about the number of people at the property. He says he paid a visit himself and realized they were shooting a music video there with an entire film crew and a ton of other people around. He claims he was attacked by someone in the crew of the show. According to the lawsuit, the guy was sucker-punched in the face and knocked out his tooth. Sounds like Pagar went to the authorities after this, and they are coming down hard on them.
