In a cringe-worthy social media exchange Friday, billionaire Musk told Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to stop flirting with him after the lawmaker slammed an unnamed billionaire with an ego problem.
The New York progressive wrote that they wereTired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special.
Musk, whose offer was accepted by the micro-blogging site earlier this week, responded by saying that he was really shy.

She was referring to a different billionaire in the now- deleted message.
The New York lawmaker said that he was talking about Facebook.
Musk and Zukerberg replied to the now- deleted message.
The namedropping may have been referring to a report from the year before that claimed that Carlson had a confidential dinner with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Theil and Musk have a love-hate relationship, but their trajectory has run parallel since the founding of Paypal. Carlson said this week that he would return to the micro-blogging site after Musk took it over.
