TOP STORY: Barcelona turn to Lukaku

The LaLiga club's biggest priority for the summer transfer window is to sign Romelu Lukaku, according to a report.

The deals for the Bundesliga frontmen have become more difficult to complete, despite the fact that they were originally preferred by Barcelona.

This is where the unhappy Belgium international comes in.

The 28-year-old is set to leave the club in the summer with various clubs interested in signing him.

The Belgian has 12 goals for the Blues this season, but he had 64 goals in 95 games for Inter in two seasons.

Barcelona officials have already met with the representative of Romelu Lukaku about a possible move.

Barcelona would not be able to duplicate the fee that was paid for Lukaku.

Both parties are aware of the situation and are waiting to see what happens with the ownership of the club as well as what any new owners intend to do with the stirker.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan are interested in signing Christopher Nkunku ofRB Leipzig during the summer. Milan would be very interested in signing the Frenchman who has contributed 30 goals and 20 assists in 47 appearances this season, and is wanted by some of the biggest clubs across Europe. The transfer of Nkunku would cost at least $60m.

Goal claims that Real Madrid are one of a number of clubs who have inquired about a possible summer move for James. James is under contract with the Blues until the year 2025, and they will do everything they can to keep him.

According to Ekrem Konur, the release clause for Pau Torres may be paid by Chelsea. The Blues are looking to bring in reinforcements at the back with Antonio Rudiger set to leave for Real Madrid, and Fernando Torres has been a key man in the campaign.

Kicker reports that Hoffenheim are hoping to sign Philipp Hofmann as a free agent when his contract ends in the summer. It is not certain that the 29-year-old will join them, as he could go to VfL Bochum instead.

According to Football Insider, both Celtic and Wolves are interested in signing Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikyn. Due to his contract running out in December, the Norwegian champions are willing to accept $500,000 from the player.
