According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis and Malcolm Bivens were released from their contracts with the company.

The other performers who received their releases were Persia Pirotta, Harland, Draco Anthony, Sanjana George, Mila Malani and Raelyn Divine.

Kai spent her entire tenure in NXT and was a two-time women's tag team champion.

Kai is a native of New Zealand who went by the name Evie on the independent scene before signing with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Kai was popular as a face and a heel during her run on the show, but she is perhaps best known for teaming with and later feuding with Rodriguez.

When they dropped them to Toxic Attraction earlier this month, they held the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships together twice.

Rodriguez appeared to be reacting to the release of her friend.

Bivens managed multiple acts for the company. He was the spokesman for Diamond Mine, which features Roderick Strong, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile.

Bivens was asked to re-sign with the company in February, but he didn't want to.

Bivens spent time in Ring of Honor, Evolve, and other independent wrestling companies before joining World Wrestling Entertainment.

Bivens managed several wrestlers before he went to the WWE.

Bivens found his greatest success when he was part of Diamond Mine.

Bivens used his sense of humor after news of his release broke.

Lumis, 38, signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment in 2019.

His on-screen romance with Indi Hartwell led to a storyline wedding that made him a cult favorite. Lumis and Hartwell were known as InDex.

Lumis may have been a victim of circumstance due to his age.

The 25-year-old native of Australia signed with the company last year and spent most of her time with Hartwell.

In order to force Duke Hudson and Lumis to compete together as a tag team, Persia and Indi had started a storyline where they were in relationships with each other.

He played college football at the University of Central Florida.

He signed with the company last year and served as Joe Gacy's on-air mentor. During the Gacy and Breakker feud, Harland disappeared from the programming.

Gacy and Harland tried to recruit Anthony, only for Xyon to step in.

On the April 12 episode of NXT, Anthony and Quinn faced off, with Anthony winning. That was Anthony's last appearance.
