Kim Kardashian has already scored a major victory, as the jury is still undecided on whether theKardashians are on the hook for tanking her reality show. The judge just tossed out the defamation claim against Kim, ruling that she made no defamatory statements against Rob's ex. Even if Kim didn't directly make false statements against Chyna, her lawyer argued that she co-signed libelous statements made by other members of the family. The judge begged to differ, saying there was no evidence that Kim took a responsible part in the various statements that have become the centerpiece of the case. The lawyer for Chyna tried to sell a theory that Kim winked or otherwise gave credence to statements made about her propensity for violence towards Rob. Kim was argued to be a co-signer on others who trash-talked Chyna to E! execs. There are plenty for the jury to consider. There are other defamation claims against the members of the klan, as well as a claim that they derailed her reality show. For that claim, Chyna was asking for 40 million dollars. The jury is continuing to deliberate.
