Apple’s Pachinko has been renewed for a second season

Ahead of Pachinko's season 1 finale, Apple renewed its adaptation of Min Jin Lee's best-selling novel for a second season.

Apple announced today that it is moving forward with more of the series creator's multi-generational story about a family of Korean immigrants living and thriving in Japan throughout the 20th century. In a press release about the renewal, Hugh was mum about what's next for Pachinko, but she called out the show's fans for being vocal about its desire for more.

Hugh said that he couldn't express his joy in being able to continue telling the story. It's an honor to work with the cast and crew.

Pachinko's season 1 finale hits Apple TV Plus today, but there is no word on when the second season will begin.
