Musk has been selling his shares.
According to four new SEC filings, Musk sold about 4 million TSLA shares for $4 billion on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The move comes as Musk prepares to take ownership of the company.

Some of Musk's fans called him out for selling more of his stock, after he ran a poll on the internet asking if he should sell. Musk said that his money would be the last out and that it was the first inTesla.
Musk said on Friday that he won't sell any more stock in the company.
Musk, who has sometimes been described as "cash poor", because most of his wealth is tied to the shares of his companies, likely needed the cash to help finance the deal, though he didn't.

Musk joked that he was buying Coca-Cola to "put the cocaine back in", but fear not, with a market cap of about $287 billion.
