There was a lot of panic at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport after a U.S. family tried to take a bomb onto a plane.
People fled the main airport terminal after the alarm was raised. Passengers were allowed back into the airport after the all-clear was given.
An hour ago, the discovery of a suspicious object at the Ben gurion Tel Aviv Airport caused fear and panic among hundreds of Zionists present at the airport.

The family went on a holiday in Israel and visited the Golan Heights. In the northeast corner of Israel, there is a 1,800 square kilometer area called Golan. The area was seized from Syria during the Six-Day War in 1967.
A member of the family found an intact and unexploded shell from the conflict during their visit to Golan and decided to take it back to the US as a souvenir.
The family showed the shell to the officers at the security checkpoint at the airport, which led to a full-scale emergency response.
After the initial chaos subsided, the family were given the all-clear and allowed to board their return flight to the U.S. without any further action being taken.
Some of the most sophisticated security systems in the world are located at Ben Gurion airport.
Israel has been criticized for its other security methods which include profiling passengers based on a variety of factors which can include their religion, despite the fact that the physical screening of bags and passengers has become less intense.
