One of Johnny Depp's security guards testified in court on Thursday that Heard threw her phone out the window during the fight.

The ex-wife of Johnny Depp has taken him to trial for defamation, claiming she ruined his career and reputation by insinuating in a Washington Post op-ed that she had been the victim of domestic violence. Heard claims that she was physically abused by Depp before and during their marriage.

The member of the security staff testified on Thursday. He talked about the fight that took place on Heard's birthday. The point when the couple began to separate has become a focal point of the trial.

Heard had a birthday party that night. He said that he didn't see the actor until after his shift ended at 11:15 p.m. The argument between the couple started because of the lateness of Depp, and he left the apartment for one of his other homes later that evening.

He arrived at the couple's main home in the Eastern Columbia Building in downtown Los Angeles around 7:45 a.m. the next morning. He says Heard told him that she threw his phone, wallet, credit cards, and passport over the balcony and onto the street after a fight with Johnny.

He used the Find My iPhone program to find the phone of Johnny Depp in a homeless area.

He approached a homeless man about the phone and he turned it down.

I gave him a reward of $420, chicken taco, chips, apples, and water.

Heard told him that she threw her phone out a window first, and that she responded by doing the same, according to the cross-examination by her lawyers.

Heard had already recovered her phone, so he didn't look for it.
