Suns coach Monty Williams said that Booker will return for the game against the New Orleans Pelicans after missing the last three games with a strained right hamstring.
Booker was upgraded to questionable shortly before the game and was expected to test his leg in the warm ups before getting the OK. Williams said he had progressed well in recent days as the Suns took a 3-2 series lead.
Williams said that it was hard to mimic an NBA game at this time of the year. He was doing the best he could to get to that point.
Williams smiled and said that Booker's return gives the Suns a "roster balance."
Williams said that it helps to settle the order of the team.
In the first game, Booker scored 25 points and then had 31 in the first half of the second game, but he injured his ankle in the third quarter and left the game.
