Schitt’s Creek is moving from Netflix to Hulu come October

Schitt's Creek will be moving homes on October 3rd. It was announced on Thursday that the show will be the only place to stream all six seasons later this year.

The show is currently on Netflix, so it's hard to see this as anything other than Disney taking away a show that's been very popular on a rival service. While losing Schitt's Creek isn't on the same level as the company's subscriber numbers dropping for the first time in a decade, it is. The Office, Friends, and even the original Marvel shows have been difficult to hang onto for the streaming service.

Competition works for streaming services.

The behind-the-scenes documentary, Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Sch, will not be available on the streaming service.
