One of the priorities of Mike Gordon, the FSG president, was to lead the talks with Klopp, and he flew in Wednesday for the game. He was sitting a few seats away from the agent because of the positive noises coming from the camp.
FSG have moved very quickly, as they did in 2016 and 2019, after the positive move from Klopp, and now he is staying until 2026. There is still the small matter of the quadruple to go for this season.
