Alan Pardew has been appointed as the new manager of CSKA.

The 60-year-old is back to full-time management for the first time in two years.

The club's technical director is a man with seven English teams.

He will take charge of CSKASofia until the end of their current campaign and for the 2022-23 season after Mladenov left.

Pardew will be assisted by a number of people.

My goal is to leave a legacy in CSKA in the future and these young coaches who will work with us now, to be able to help the club in the coming years.

Since being fired by West Brom, the former boss has not been in charge of a team in the premier league.
