Mets' Pete Alonso Responds to Being Tackled by Cardinals Coach in Brawl

The benches cleared after Nolan Arenado was hit by a high pitch. Stubby Clapp was seen taking down Alonso during the fight.

After the game, Marmol said he had no issue with his coach's actions.

Alonso was hit in the head during Tuesday's game and tensions were already high.

Several players went onto the field to argue with each other.

J.D. Davis left the game in the top of the eighth after being hit in the leg by a pitch.
