The Kite Man of the Harley Quinn series is not a real supervillain, but that doesn't stop him from starring in his own spinoff show.

Kite Man will feature in a new 10-episode comedy from Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, as well as Harley Quinn's upcoming third season. Kite Man is going to be the focus of the movie as he and the Golden Glider attempt to make a new name for themselves after Poison Ivy dumps him for Harley. Kite Man won't be the only classic DC character in the show, according to a press release from Warner Bros.

The DC Universe has a world of hilarious possibilities with the super heroes and super-villains. After getting dumped by Poison Ivy, the least we could do was give Kite Man his own show.

There is no word on when the series will premiere or when it will air, but Harley Quinn's third season is slated to air this summer.
