I never thought I'd see a trailer for a movie. After over a decade of development and production, writer-director James Cameron finally unveiled the trailer for his long-awaited sequel at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. You will see it soon. What you need to know is here.

The title of the film is "Avatar: The Way of Water" and it will be in theaters on December 16. The original movie will be re-released by Disney on September 23. There is plenty of time for fans and audiences to see the highest-grossing film in history. It is also on Disney+.

Each of the upcoming four sequels will focus on the family of Jake Sully and Neytiri, but will also stand alone, according to Jon Landau, the film's producer.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will have a trailer in theaters on May 6. Audiences can only check it out at that place. It is expected to debut online a week later.

What is in it? There are clusters of vines high above the ground and a family of people, some big, some small, running and jumping around them. There is a close up on the face of Neytiri, as she watches something with care, followed by a shot from high overhead of four Navi flying over a vast ocean of water. They fly over big, almost coral structures in the sea with lots of people standing on them. No one is talking about any of this. There is just sweet, quiet music.

We see an industrial area with people walking and talking. A few choppers are taking off. There are shots of Navi swimming underwater. It didn't look like there was water in this sequel. The water is all blue and there are fish and a creature in it, but it looked like they were swimming through the air. I was further back in the theater because the footage was barely a few seconds. It looks pretty but isn't as convincing as water.

The trailer goes into a sequence. Jake and Neytiri are trapped in a flooded submarine in one of the shots. A group of humans are being spied on. The whales are holding their fins with a single hand. Jake is riding a creature that can fly in water and in the air in a shot that looks like he is floating on water. Jake has a haircut. It looks like a military vehicle. His head was dark and short.

Jake says in the trailer, "Wherever we go, this family is our fortress."

Will this trailer be enough to get people excited for the movie? We will see. The trailer will get everyone's attention once it drops in theaters and online, and it will let people know that the movie is coming back.
