The organization might take a different approach to address the wide receiver position, despite the conventional wisdom that the Packers will pick a wide receiver with one of their two first-round draft picks.

The Packers should wait on a receiver until the second day of the NFL draft in 2022, according to Dan Graziano.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded the Nos. 22 and 53 overall picks to the Green Bay Packers. The Packers lost another free agent, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

There have been some outliers, but most mock drafts have the Packers selecting a wideout.

Florida State edge-rusher Jermaine Johnson II and Central Michigan offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann are projected to be selected by the Green Bay Packers.

This is a good receiver draft with a lot of depth.

Georgia's George Pickens is the highest ranked of the final big board rankings.

The Packers are expected to take at least one wide receiver in the first two days of the draft. Their depth chart shows Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard and Amari Rodgers.

Brian Gutekunst has to replace Adams and Valdes-Scantling. They combined for over 2,000 receiving yards and 14 touchdown catches.

Two of the Packers' 11 picks are in the first and second rounds. They have a lot of flexibility to retool their roster as they look to maximize their window of contention with quarterback Rodgers still playing at an elite level.
