City will play Wolves away on 11 May, meaning they will play three league games in seven days.
The rearranged match was between the two teams that will play in the FA Cup final.
The Carabao Cup winners trail City by one point in the league.
Both sides are still in the running to win the title, with the final taking place after the end of the league season.
