Six-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan moved into the semi-finals of the World Championship with a comfortable 13-5 win over Stephen Maguire.

The world number one,Sullivan, led 11-5 overnight and compiled breaks of 71 and 126 to seal victory in 20 minutes.

He has reached a 13th Crucible semi-final, one more than Stephen Hendry.

He will now face either John or Jack.

I tried everything and stayed focused. O' Sullivan said that there is a toolbox and that you can use it to play your own game.

I would rather not be playing in this tournament.

I have always said that the Masters and this are my two worst tournaments. I prefer to play in the Championship League, but you have to show up to this one and give it your all.

O'Sullivan is just two victories away from matching the record of seven titles held by Hendry.

After running away with the first two sessions of the match, Wednesday morning's conclusion proved a formality for The Rocket, who confirmed progression with his seventh century of the tournament.

In the first session, I didn't lose it because you can come back from 6-2, but last night the game was over.

I wish it had ended last night. I don't like being beaten. It hurts.

'He is supreme in all departments' - analysis

Stephen Hendry is a seven-time world champion.

I am not able to see anyone who can compete with him because he is so good. He is scoring when he gets in. Something will have to be done to beat him.

It would be an honor for me to share seven titles with him because he has taken it to a new level.
