BintanGO has everything Indonesian creators need to make money. CreatorSpace helps them manage brand collaborations by measuring engagement and sending invoices.

Businesses can search through BintanGO's marketplace for verified creators, who are accepted based on their social media followers, post consistency and aesthetic. It has an app where fans can get video shout-outs from their favorite celebrities, similar to the US version of the app.

The Jakarta-based startup announced today that it has raised $2.1 million in seed funding from Investible, eWTP Technology and Innovation Fund, and others. BintanGO received $500,000 in a pre-seed round in June of 2021.

One of the challenges faced by Indonesian creators is that they have to manage multiple sources of income. In Indonesia, they are classified as informal workers, making it hard to get financing and credit from financial institutions. The goal of BintanGO is to solve all those issues.

A total of almost $150,000 has been earned by creators on the platform in the past three months, according to BintanGO. The creation of its other features was prompted by the creation of the video shout-out app.

Lee and Mandasari realized the difficulties of turning their content into a business when they got on BintanGO. CreatorSpace has invoicing and business management tools that are available to all creators.

BintanGO differentiates itself from other creator platforms by providing invoice financing solutions to creators as well. BintanGO offers solutions for creators who don't get paid until as late as 60 to 90 days after a project.

The platform fee varies from 1% to 5% of the transaction's value, depending on the service used.
