The Batman is back. The hit DC adaptation will get a sequel, Warner Bros. and director Matt Reeves announced at CinemaCon. No other news was given, but the two stars were confirmed to return.

This isn't a big surprise. These characters have always been expected to return to this world with the team. It was always a case of waiting to see if people would show up to see the movie, which has made $750 million worldwide and counting.

The role that the character played in the original film could play a role in the film, even though there is no word on what story the film will follow. Even the Riddler can be explored further. All survived the film.

There are many DC films coming from Warner Bros. In the months to come, there will be DC League of Super-Pets, Black Adam, and the Lost Kingdom. As of the publication of this story, the footage of these titles is expected to be screened at CinemaCon.

What do you think? What do you want to see in The Batman 2? Is there a teaming up of the two villains? Is Catwoman getting more of a origin story? Will it tie into the upcoming show with Colin Farrell? There are so many questions and so few answers. The Batman 2 is coming. Officially.
