According to Jeremy Fowler, there is no chance of the Las Vegas Raiders trading tight endDarren Waller.

The Raiders were interested in a trade with the Green Bay Packers and were looking to deal with the Packers during the draft in 2022, according to a report by Cheesehead TV.

The Packers sent Davante Adams to the Raiders and were trying to get a player with a first-round pick, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic. The player Green Bay was targeting was Waller.

Carr shut down the trade talks on social media.

Fowler reported that the Raiders have no plans to complete a trade.

Over the past three years, Waller has been one of the most productive tight ends in the league, with over 3000 yards and 14 touchdown catches. He had his best season in 2020, when he had 105 catches for 1,196 yards and nine touchdown, and was selected to the Pro Bowl.

The 29-year-old was limited to 11 games because of knee and back issues, but he still averaged 60.5 receiving yards per game.

The $6.8 million cap hit for 2022, which is just 13th among tight ends, is a great value. He will have a $7 million cap hit in 2023.

It's enough to generate interest around the league, but the Raiders clearly don't want to let him go.
