Utah Jazz star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell was forced to leave the game in Dallas after his leg tightened up late in the game.

Mitchell said he will have an exam in Salt Lake City on Tuesday but he is optimistic that he will be ready for Thursday.

Mitchell, who was limping to the locker room, said he had to find a way.

The Jazz were down by 28 when Mitchell left.

Mitchell was held to nine points on 4-of-15 shooting. The Jazz were outclassed by 38 points.

Mitchell is shooting only 37.9% from the floor and 19.5% from the 3-point range.

Mitchell said that he gave credit to Dallas' primary defender on him. The looks I have been getting have not been easy. I am just trying to find a way.
