Jack Dorsey made it clear that he supports Musk as the new owner of Twitter. In his first public comments since the deal was announced, Dorsey said that he trusts Elon.

The company was getting out of an impossible situation and was on the right path, according to a letter written by Dorsey.

The idea and service is all that matters to me, and I will do whatever it takes to protect them. Wall Street has owned it. Taking it back from Wall Street is the correct first step.

The idea and service is all that matters to me, and I will do whatever it takes to protect both. Twitter as a company has always been my sole issue and my biggest regret. It has been owned by Wall Street and the ad model. Taking it back from Wall Street is the correct first step.

I don't believe anyone should own or run the social networking site. It wants to be a public good, not a company. The singular solution I trust the most is the one that solved the problem of the company being a company. I trust that he will extend the light of consciousness.

Elon’s goal of creating a platform that is “maximally trusted and broadly inclusive” is the right one. This is also @paraga’s goal, and why I chose him. Thank you both for getting the company out of an impossible situation. This is the right path...I believe it with all my heart.

Though not the first time he has endorsed Musk's involvement with the company, his latest comments come at a time when many employees are anxious about the direction of the company.
