The number of war dead in Ukraine was blamed by former President Donald Trump on the rigged election.
During an interview with British TV host Piers Morgan that aired on Monday, Trump said that it was a shame that people were dead because of a rigged election.
He told Morgan that he thought the conflict was a waste of time and money.
The former president agreed with Morgan that Russian President Putin is a genocidal monster.
Despite having a lot of problems, Trump said that Ukraine was working and people were happy. He said that a lot of them were happy because they were fighting for it.
During his time in office, Trump warned Putin of a strong response if Russia invaded Ukraine. He wouldn't comment if he told Putin that the US was prepared to use nuclear weapons.
Trump said he would emphasize that the US has better weapons than Russia if he were president.
I would say that we have more power than you do and you can't use that word again. The word nuclear cannot be used again. If you do that, we will have problems.
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. In March, he suggested that the US send its nuclear submarines to the Russian coast to put pressure on Putin and that no one else could talk to him.
The former president has been slammed by various parties for praising Putin and describing the Russian leader's reason for invading Ukraine.
