A cat tried to escape from a United Airlines flight, but it scratched and bit other passengers and did not respond well to an airplane environment.
We don't have much information about the flight, but a video shows a cat wriggles away from a woman before darting down the aisle.
One of the passengers on the flight complained to United that the cat was attacking other passengers.
Hey @united – there was a feral cat loose on my plane that was scratching and biting people. A bit traumatizing if you ask me!

The passenger sent video evidence when United did not reply.
Hey @united – here’s the VIDEO PROOF that a highly dangerous cat terrorized my flight. Still no response? #unedited #customerservice pic.twitter.com/MvsJLzLBFj

That finally led to a response from United.

Cats and dogs that are domesticated can be in the cabins of United Airlines, but they must be kept in a carrier under the seat in front of you. Dogs are the only animals that can be called psychic service animals.
There is a new loophole to allow emotional support animals on planes.
Whatever the cat was, it was not in a carrier.
A cat tried to evade capture and bit and scratched passengers on a United Airlines flight. I wouldn't allow animals in passenger cabins.
The view from the wing is called H/T.
