Vans' MTE line consists of rugged silhouettes that are designed for inclement weather, like the Sk8-Hi MTE. The line's newest addition is the Static CC MTE, a beefed-up version of the Vans Mountain Edition available in three colorways: a "Beef & Broc" style combo of brown and olive, a light mixture of sail and tan and a classic all black.

Each pair's upper is constructed of weather-treated suede, leather and mesh that feature Vans' proprietary MTE 360 tech, intended to keep the wearer's feet warm and dry. Other features like boot-style D-ring metal eyelets, heel/tongue pull tabs and a reverse lug outsole for all-condition grip further elevate the Static CC MTE's durable design.

Although the style is decidedly rugged, there's still some luxe details to be had, thanks to the aforementioned suede overlays on the upper, a puffed high-top collar and special tongue detailing. Meanwhile, a full-length ComfyCush footbed promises plush, all-day comfort in contrast to the aggressive trek-ready tread outsole.

All three colorways of the Static CC MTE are available now on Vans's website, with each pair weighing in at $95 USD.

Meanwhile, Vans and RHUDE recently dug into their shared California heritage on their latest collaboration.
