Virgil Abloh's 496-page retrospective book Figures of Speech is now being released as a special edition beginning October 29. Figures of Speech includes 1,932 images and a selection of essays which discuss a wide range of topics from race, contemporary art history, streetwear and more. The 496-page Prestel-produced book also features an extensive look at the designer's illustrious career, including his work with Nike, Louis Vuitton, Kanye West, IKEA and more. The original version of the book released in conjunction with the "Figures of Speech" exhibition at MCA Chicago.

Cosmetic features exclusive to the special edition of Figures of Speech include a protective cloth slipcase, a measuring tape that doubles as a bookmark and the phrase "PERSONAL COPY" silkscreened on the edge of the book. Additionally, a Flexi disc printed with a Juergen Teller photo that contains a spoken word recording by Abloh and Playboi Carti is included with each purchase.

The special edition of Figures of Speech will be available beginning October 29, right in line with the opening of its namesake exhibition at the High Museum in Atlanta. Learn more over on Prestel Publishing's website.
