Grayson Allen hits six 3s off the bench for the Bucks (1:10)

In the Game 4 victory over the Bulls, Allen had 27 points and six 3-pointers. There is a time and a place for this.

In the days leading up to the team's first road playoff games in Chicago, the Milwaukee Bucks used every opportunity they could to shower Grayson Allen with boos.

Allen was booed when he walked onto the bus. They booed him when he arrived at the hotel. They booed him when he touched the ball in practice.

The Milwaukee bench booed Allen all the way after he set career highs in Games 3 and 4 to help Milwaukee take a commanding 3-1 series lead over Chicago.

Allen scored 27 points off the bench in the Bucks victory on Sunday, and said it was hilarious. It has been turned into a fun thing. It makes it easier to hear it during the game because they think it is funny.

Game 5 will be in Milwaukee.

When Allen touched the ball for the first time in the first game of the season in Chicago, the Bucks began jeering their teammate. The public enemy No.1 for the Chicago basketball fans was Allen after his foul on Alex Caruso resulted in him missing two months.

Allen tried to reach out to Caruso to apologize, but the two never connected. Fans at the United Center booed Allen when he touched the ball on offense or when he approached the scorer's table, even though the Bulls downplayed the animosity.

Allen insisted after the game that he doesn't feed off the negative reaction to his reputation as a villain in Chicago.

Allen said it was not comfortable for him. My personality is not comfortable with the attention. It is not something I feed off of. I am not going to look for it.

Allen's teammates are having fun with it.

Allen was asked by Antetokounmpo to frame a photo from Game 3 in which the Bucks bench is in the background booing Allen as he heads to the free throw line after a converted and-1.

"Maybe Milwaukee fans, we got to boo him even more," Antetokounmpo said with a smile after the game.

When we booed him during the game, and he really started hooping, I think we just stuck with it.

Allen was even better on Sunday afternoon after leading all scorers in Game 3 with 22 points.

Allen went 10-of-12 from the field on Sunday, including 6-of-7 from 3-point range, to outscore Chicago's bench all by himself. He became the first player to score 25 points and knock down six 3s in a playoff game in team history and the first player off the bench to score 25 points in a playoff game since Tim Thomas in 2003 according to research. When he was the primary defender, Allen made plays on defense, collecting three steals and holding Chicago to 3-of-8 shooting.

Allen rebounded after going 0-for-4 from 3 in the first two games. The loss of Khris Middleton will hurt the Bucks, but his performance this weekend helped.

Allen is a quiet, but confident, player according to Budenholzer. He comes to play and is quiet. Our guys like that type of mentality. It has been a good fit.

The crowd at the United Center booed Allen when he checked into the game in between free throw attempts in the fourth quarter.

The fans of Chicago waited five years for a home playoff game, and the weekend of uncompetitive basketball was their reward. The Bulls must win in Milwaukee on Wednesday to keep their season going.

The Bulls guard said that Allen was hitting shots. We know what happened with the injury. It is basketball at the end of the day. We are aware of it. It isn't like we're going out there and saying that he can't beat us. Them are beating us right now.

You cannot just account for him. Everyone is it.
