George Miller said that he felt Janiya wasn't safe to go to school.

The family said it was too much to bear.

She would come home crying because people were laughing at her. She has problems with comprehension and occiput.

The police arrested him after he turned himself in. Police wrote in a statement on their Facebook page, "Sanders was observed on video forcefully throwing one of the juvenile involved to the ground."

The Millers' daughter wants to watch the video a lot. She is still shocked by what happened.

She told us she blacked out, but she didn't know what happened. The Millers said she didn't remember when she came home.

The NAACP President said that she was told by the district that the man would retire in May.

I don't think it's right for him to be able to retire like nothing happened.

FOX13 tried to reach out to him, but he didn't respond. The district released a statement about the current employment status of the man.

In accordance with the school board's policy, Mr. Sanders is suspended from school pending the outcome of the police investigation.

Police said that the two juvenile involved in the altercation were issued citations for disorderly conduct and released.
