Save on several Meta Quest 2 VR games this weekend only

Several new virtual reality games are in the works for the Quest 2 headset, after Meta held a games showcase this past week. We have a list of the titles that we are most excited about. In celebration of the event, Meta has slashed prices on several virtual reality games. Whether you just bought a game or want to fill out your library a little more, these deals are for you.

I have highlighted a few deals that I think are great.

If you are in the market for a smart speaker that is compact, yet capable, you may want to check out the Nest Audio. Normally priced at $99.99, this model is price-reduced at Best Buy and Walmart.

The upgrade to the smaller Nest Audio was a smart move for me because I was tired of reserving counter space for a giant Google Home Max. It provides crisp sound that can get loud without degradation to its low or high-end delivery, so I'm not missing that more powerful speaker as much as I thought. The sound quality of the smart speaker is better than the Home. It is possible to pair two in stereo to provide a better experience.

You can get into one of Best Buy's stores if you bring your old computer accessories with you. If you have the chance this weekend, the retailer will give you a 20 percent off coupon toward a new accessory, like the G435 wireless gaming headset, when you hand over an old PC or gaming. The in-store offer ends on May 6th. You can read about it here.

At Best Buy, you can trade in your old modem, routers, or modem/router combo for a discount on a new model. Unfortunately, the networking products from the company are not included in the offer. It will help you get a great price on a product from other recommended brands, like Eero, Orbi, and others. There are details here.

For Best Buy's Earth Day promo, you can take any hard drive to the store for recycling and receive a coupon that will knock 10 percent off the cost of a Western Digital or SanDisk Professional hard drive. These are high-capacity disk drives. It could be worth it if you need more storage for large files. Here are the eligible models that can be discounted.

The battery-powered Doorbell is seeing a major discount, and it is happening at Amazon and other retailers. You can get a slender model for less than the normal price, if you pick it up in a variety of colors. This could be a great product for first-time smart doorbell owners. My colleague Dan Seifert praised its great people and package-detecting capabilities, as well as its longer-than-average battery life.

The battery-powered option leaves a few features compared to prior generations. It shoots at a lower resolution and lacks continuous recording. The sting of those flaws is lessened by this deal. Read our full review.

The latest generation of the video doorbell has a tall form factor that is white, ivy, ash, and linen. The wireless device can record 960 x 1280 resolution at up to 30 frames per second with night vision and can detect people, animals, vehicles, and packages.
