Livingston: David Martindale in hospital and misses game against Aberdeen

The Livingston manager will miss the Aberdeen game after spending a night in the hospital.

The 47-year-old was taken to the hospital on Friday with severe abdominal pain, which was later diagnosed as kidney stones. The club says he is doing well.

Marvin will be in charge of the first game of the season, but he will be sitting in the stands as he serves a touchline ban.

Neil Hastings is the first-team coach for Livingston.

Aberdeen missed out on a top-six finish after a home loss to Ross County.

The visitors arrive with two points and one place above Aberdeen, who are ninth in the table.
