A person was flown from the steps of the Supreme Court in Washington, DC, after setting themselves on fire.
An individual went to the plaza in front of the Supreme Court building and set themselves on fire. A public information officer for the Supreme Court said in a statement that they responded to the incident.
The person was taken to a hospital in a helicopter, according to Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram.

The Supreme Court representative did not respond to Insider's requests for comment.
Capitol Police confirmed a helicopter landed near the Capitol for a medical emergency but said it was not a public safety issue.
The Supreme Court Building is located east of the US Capitol grounds and is also known as The Marble Palace.
