Kentucky coach John Calipari says that Shaedon Sharpe has not made a final decision on his playing future and that he is continuing to discuss with the wing player's family whether he will stay in the NBA draft or play for the Cats next season.

"All I can tell you is he may do this, but it is not done," Calipari said on Sports Talk with Dan Issel and Mike Pratt.

In the last two months, nothing has changed about how we are going about this. I am talking to his mother and father once a week. They will play a part in this, but I am not overly critical of the stuff.

He announced on social media that he was entering the NBA draft but keeping his college eligibility. Sources told Jeff Borzello that he would stay in the draft.

The five-star recruit didn't play for Kentucky in the upcoming years.

Sources told Jonathan Givony that the Canadian wing who was a top recruit in his class graduated from high school in May and will be able to enter the NBA draft.

My path to this point wasn't a straight road of successes but my passion for this game and my dream to play at the highest level has allowed me to overcome challenges and disappointments and has shaped me into who I am today.

When players are planning to return to Kentucky, they usually move their belongings into the basement of the team's dormitory.

The plan was for him to come back. Maybe he can be picked in those early, early picks after all of a sudden. Maybe he can.

Oscar Tshiebwe, the Wooden Award winner who announced this week that he would return to school, would benefit from the return of Sharpe. He can become the second player to win the Wooden Award twice if he chooses to. In 1982 and 1983 it was won byRalph Sampson.

One of the greatest upsets in college basketball history took place this year when Kentucky lost to Saint Peter's in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Saint Peter made it all the way to the Elite Eight before falling to North Carolina.

Calipari said he has put the game behind him despite the backlash.

Calipari said he had moved on from the game. What? Is it possible that I took it hard? What? I have never had a team do that. We have never been in that situation where we lost to a double digit seed. It is next. How do we win next year? Winning tournaments. That is the only thing we put on this wall.
