Just a few days after the defiant Ukranian border guard who flipped off the Russian ship was honored with a stamp, the National Post Office of Ukrposhta reported a massive cyberattack.

The Ukrposhta Director General didn't name a culprit behind the attack. It's not a leap of faith to think someone on the other side of the border had something to do with it.

He wrote in a translated Facebook post that DDOS is still going on and that they have been able to partially restore them.

The Office was doing everything it could to restore the online store and other Ukrposhti systems that were down by the attack.

There is a damper on international stamp sales because of this, but collectible is still doing gangbusters in Kyiv, where the central post office is housed. Reports emerged from the city earlier this week that hundreds of Ukranians lined up to get one of the stamp sheets honoring Roman Hrybov, the Ukranian border guard who stared down the Russian ship Moskova from Snake Island. Hrybov was awarded a national medal for his bravery after being captured by Russian forces.
