A new video gives armchair astronauts one of the clearest looks yet inside a crater on Mars.

The image was taken by the HiRISE camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. He wrote in the description that the image was denoised, blended, graded and rescaled to create a stunning video.

The song "Itasca, It's Glowing Red Hot" was added to the album.

The original HiRISE image is in multiple formats.

The most powerful camera ever sent to another planet was created by the University of Arizona.

You can see the results on the HiRISE feed as well as on Flickr in standard, 4K and 8K.
