  • A group seeks to challenge her candidacy.

  • She said she didn't recall saying anything about Pelosi being accused of treason.

  • She said that Nancy Pelosi is guilty of treason.

The Georgia Republican insisted under oath that she did not remember supporting the execution of Pelosi.

There is an administrative hearing in Atlanta about whether she can be disqualified from serving in Congress for supporting an insurrection against the United States.

Lawyers from Free Speech for the People presented the congresswoman with a print-out of a CNN article that documented the prior support of political violence against some Democrats.

She took an oath to protect American citizens and uphold our laws. She helps our enemies who invade our land. That is what treason is. Our law representatives and senators can be kicked out of the government. It is a crime that is punished by death. Nancy Pelosi is a traitor.

At the hearing on Friday, she insisted she had no recollection of those comments.

She joked about it when asked by the lawyers and the judge presiding over the hearing.

The group brought forward several statements and social media posts.

At one point, she was questioning about the fact that her Facebook account liked a post from a person who said that a bullet to the head would be quicker to remove Pelosi. She bashed CNN when she was asked about that comment.

She said that CNN provided documentation and links to the original posts, despite the fact that they lied about her multiple times.

The lawyer with Free Speech for the People repeated the question.

She insisted that she didn't know who liked her social media account.

The group argued in their complaint that the CNN article supported an insurrection.

No person who has taken an oath and served as a member of Congress shall engage in insurrection or rebellion.

A federal judge in Georgia ruled on Monday that the challenge could go forward, despite the fact that Greene tried to block the hearing. She is the first member of Congress to testify under oath.
