Thailand will no longer require Covid test entry from May.
The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) approved the lifting of the testing requirement for international arrivals.
There are two new entry schemes for travellers who are notvaccinated.
International travellers will no longer be required to show proof of a negative test before they arrive.
They will still be required to register for a Thailand Pass with a Covid vaccination certificate and an insurance policy with coverage of at least $10,000, reduced from $20,000.
They will be free to go anywhere in Thailand once they arrive.
International travellers who are unvaccinated will no longer be required to show proof of a pre-arrival negative PCR test or undergo an arrival test.
They have to stay in a hotel for five days and have a test on the fifth day.
They will have to register for a Thailand Pass with a five-day hotel booking and an insurance policy with the same coverage.
Travelers who have not beenvaccinated will not be required to quark once they enter the country if they have uploaded proof of a negative test within 72 hours.
