A new repor t from MacRumors suggests that Apple Cash may be moving to Visa. Discover has a smaller global network than Visa.

Users have noticed that Apple Cash virtual cards now have a Visa logo on them, despite the fact that Apple Pay Cash had a partnership with Green Dot Bank. Users of Apple Pay can send peer-to-peer payments with Apple Cash virtual cards. They can be linked to a bank account, and are similar to virtual debit cards. Cash back earnings can be paid to Apple Cash accounts as well.

We don't know if this transition will happen for all Apple Cash users because Apple didn't reply to a request for comment on Friday. Users who have Discover Apple Cash accounts can create a new Apple Cash account number on the Visa network by disabling Apple Cash in their device settings, and then reactivating, according to MacRumors.
