The lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has been opened by Delta Air Lines.
Los Angeles World Airports and Delta are investing more than $2 billion in a new Delta Sky Way facility. The new SkyClub has just opened and the work is expected to be finished in 2023.
The new Delta SkyClub is located on the departures level between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. What should guests expect from the lounge?
The lounge looks great. There are some pictures published by Delta.
These lounges have the broadest entry requirements when it comes to Delta SkyClub access. SkyClubs are accessible by select premium passengers and elite members on eligible itineraries, as well as to members, and those with an Amex Platinum Card or Delta Reserve Card.
The Amex Platinum Card is the most common way that people access Delta SkyClubs. SkyClub access for premium cardmembers is part of the partnership between Amex and Delta.
Delta SkyClubs have a better food and drink selection than American Admirals Clubs and United Clubs. Delta doesn't currently have any premium lounges for international business class passengers.
Delta One Lounges are expected to open at JFK and LAX. All we can do is speculate, as the details are very limited.
There is a new 30,000 square foot Delta SkyClub at the airport. The lounge is beautiful and the terrace is awesome. I can't wait to check it out.
What do you think about the new Delta SkyClub?
